Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L)
Hi, I'm Cassy, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and the founder of Emerald Path Wellness I earned my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Science from Arizona State University and my Occupational Therapy Assistant certification from Brookline College.
Our Mission is to guide children and their families along a path to wellness by nurturing growth, and independence. We strive to help every child achieve their unique potential while providing families with the tools, education, and support needed to foster success in all activities of life.
Our Vision is to make high-quality pediatric therapy and family support accessible to every child. We envision a future where children thrive with confidence and independence, families feel empowered to support their child's growth, and families have the resources they need to succeed together.
Originally from Oregon, I have always had a passion for helping children grow, learn, and reach their fullest potential. I am fascinated by how the human body develops and functions, and I love using that knowledge to help children build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in everyday life.
I believe that every child learns differently and deserves individualized, compassionate care. My goal is not only to help children achieve meaningful milestones but also to empower parents with the knowledge, strategies, and support they need to continue their child's progress beyond each therapy session. Whether services are provided in person or through telehealth, I strive to create engaging, family-centered experiences that fit naturally into everyday routines.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, family, and our dogs. I also love attending live theater performances, hiking, going to the movies, playing board games, and exploring new places. One of my greatest passions is learning about different cultures and the unique perspectives they bring. I believe these experiences help me connect with families from diverse backgrounds with greater understanding, compassion, and respect.
Currently, I proudly provide pediatric occupational therapy services through Empower Phoenix, Arizona where I partner with an Occupational Therapist supervisor, patients and their families to support meaningful growth and development. Through this
